Basic HTML using Notepad, with Blog report

On 25^th May, the lecturer of my introduction to Internet Technology has given us a group assignment. This assignment should works in pairs and it’s basically all about html. What is html? This is the first question that comes into my mind. I try to google it and HTML is actually a language for describing web pages. I have group with yu wei, my friendly group mate and we just type the codes that given by our lecturer in notepad. We try a few times and viewed the output before we post it. We try a few time on what we had learn from the previous lab so that we can make our own ideal output.

Generally, the tools that we learned and used during this assignment were notepad, Mozilla Firefox web browser, bravehost.com which is a free web hosting site and blogger.com.

Besides, I also visit and learn html from this website (http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/) to help me know more about html. I found that this website is very suitable for new learner because you can easily find how to start the html and also many tutorials which I learn the frames, fonts, images, lines& paragraph.

Debugging html codes in getting the output, the first thing we did for this webpage product is to type all the codes which are given by lecturer in notepad. After we have done it, we tried to send it to our hotmail in order to make sure all the codes can be work. It is quite a sad thing because the image does not appear. After that, our friend identified the error which was the incomplete URL and after we fix it the image was showed successfully. After that, we inserted four tables in order to put all the photos into those tables as it looks good compare with placed those photos without  a tables.

Choosing web hosting server and uploading the file, we actually based on referring to the assignment instruction and select bravehost.com to upload our webpage product because Ms. Sha also created the IT quiz 1 on bravehost.com. It is easy to upload because every selection give us the clear direction.

Besides, creating a blog is totally different from what I have done the networking before and it gives me a lot of fun. I have no facing any difficulties because I always ask my friendly group mate on teaching me how to start a blog and what to do with a blog.

In my opinion, if I going to do this assignment again I would like to change the html codes and create my own html. I will try to do more tutorial before I go in a higher level.

In my conclusion, I would like to say thanks you to Ms. Sha because giving us an assessment which consists me a lot of fun and interesting experience. In this assignment I would like to say its grateful to group my group mate, yuwei because we really works as a teamwork and I do learn a lot thing from her. Thanks you.
